1. JEE Mains

The Joint Entrance Examination, or JEE, is one of the most popular engineering entrance exams in India. If you pass the exam, you will be admitted to the best engineering institutes in India, including the IITs, IIITs, NITs, CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutes), and so on. Undergraduate courses such as B. Tech/B. E and B.Arch./B. Planning are available to candidates. The National Testing Agency recently took over the management of JEE Main from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The exam is now held twice a year by the NTA.

2. JEE Advanced

JEE Advanced is the second stage of the JEE system. The Joint Admission Board guides the seven zonal IITs on how to conduct it once a year. The exam is open to just the top 2.4 lakh JEE Main rank holders. Exam scores determine admission to the nation’s elite 24 IITs.

3. VITEEE

Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, offers this entrance test for Engineering course admission. You can receive admission to all VIT campuses, including Vellore, Bhopal, Chennai, and Amravati, by taking this exam. The exam will last 3 hours and will consist of objective type questions. There is also negative marking. The total number of seats available for this admission exam is around 12,000. More than 6,000 seats are located on the main campus, Vellore itself.

4. BITSAT

The University level engineering entrance test, BITSAT, is conducted online by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS). All eligible applicants are admitted to BITS’ three campuses through the BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test). Over 2 lakh people apply for this exam each year, making it extremely competitive. A total of 2,000 seats are available for admission.

5. MET

Manipal University is responsible for administering the institute’s yearly online entrance examination. The Manipal Entrance Test is a university entrance exam. Every year, about 50,000 students take the exam. Admissions are available to 16 engineering programmes. The exam is 150 minutes long and takes place online. The exam is objective multiple-choice, and students must pass it with a good score to be admitted to Manipal University.

6. KEAM

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala conducts the Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examination, which is required for admission to engineering programmes. KEAM requires that applicants have a minimum of 50% in mathematics, physics, and chemistry in high school. OCI and PIO candidates, in addition to Indian citizens, are eligible to take the exam.

7. CUSAT Entrance exam

CUSAT, or Cochin University of Science and Technology, administers the Common Admission Test for admission to all UG and PG programmes except PhD and diploma programmes. It takes place once a year. In July 2022, the Cochin University of Science and Technology will have its Common Admission Test.

8. KIITEE

The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination (KIITEE) is held by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar to admit candidates to its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The exam is held once a year for qualifying applicants to be admitted to the institute’s four-year B.Tech programmes. To get accepted, applicants must obtain the required marks. Applicants taking the KIITEE can choose from over 60 exam centres.

9. SRMJEEE

The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEE) is a test held by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology to evaluate the potential of students. Approximately 1 lakh students apply for this admission exam each year. The entrance exam consists of 125 questions, and applicants must pass it to be considered for admission to SRM University.

10. COMEDK UGET

The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK UGET) is a study undertaken by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). The COMEDK UGET entrance test is required for admission to the BTech programmes given by the Associations of Medical, Dental, and Engineering Private Colleges in the state of Karnataka. Approximately 20,000 B. Tech seats are available for admission. The test lasts three hours and is based on the 10+2 standard’s syllabus.
