Kerala NEET Counselling 2024 Overview

Students who want to apply to Kerala’s medical and dental colleges after clearing the NEET exam can do so through the Kerala NEET Counselling programme, a state-level admissions process. The counselling procedure is conducted by Kerala’s Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE). The counselling process consists of two steps:

Kerala NEET Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications for MBBS/BDS Programmes: To be eligible, candidates must have earned at least 50% of their total score in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and Physics. It is required that these courses have been individually completed in examinations recognised as comparable to the Higher Secondary Examination administered by the Kerala Board of Higher Secondary Education.

Age Requirement: The candidate must have turned 17 by December 31, 2024, to be eligible. If a candidate was born on or after February 1, 2004, they are not eligible to apply to MBBS or BDS programmes.

Domicile: Candidates must be Kerala residents.

Kerala NEET Counselling 2024: How to Apply

• The candidate should access the official website.
• Select the option labelled “New Registration.”
• Upon successfully completing the account activation process, candidates are required to input their personal details. As you complete the application, double-check that all the data provided is accurate.
• Once the candidate has filled out their personal details, they should upload a high-contrast passport-size photo and a signed copy in both Hindi and English, which they have properly scanned. Click “Save & Continue” once you’ve uploaded the photo and signature.
• Once the scanned photograph and signature have been uploaded, the candidate needs to input their educational background on the computer screen and select the “Save & Continue” option.
• Upon completing all necessary fields, applicants need to pay the counselling fee. There will be no reimbursement of the counselling fees. Here are the two payment options:
  • When choosing a payment method from the list that displays on the computer screen, candidates who wish to pay the counselling fee by bank challan should choose the offline / NEFT Challan option. Payment for the counselling fee can be made by NEFT option by downloading the challan, printing it, and approaching any bank by the deadline.
  • When choosing an online payment method from those that display on the computer screen, the candidate should “Make the Payment” by using a credit card, debit card, or net banking. To make payments online, the candidate must pay a processing fee in addition to the counselling fee.

Kerala NEET 2024 Counselling Process

Login Process: Candidates must access the “candidate portal” in order to participate in the counselling process.

Page For Registering Options: After setting a password, candidates must proceed to the login page and click the “open registration” option.

Choice Filling And Locking: The online choice filling for Kerala MBBS counselling will show up on the screen. There will be a list of colleges with details about their names, codes, districts, and courses offered.

Kerala NEET Seat Allocation Process: The authority states that the selection and locking phase will be the first in Kerala MBBS/BDS seat allocation 2024.

Kerala NEET Counselling Result: Kerala’s CEE releases the Kerala NEET 2024 counselling results online via the official Kerala CEE website following the seat assignment process.

Kerala NEET Merit List 2024

• Based on the marks received in NEET 2024 and the student’s category, the CEE creates a State Merit List of all the students who successfully registered and finished the programme.
• The allocation of the state quota seat will be based on this State Merit List.

Centralised Allotment Process (CAP)

There are two stages to this process:

• Option registration
• Seat selection

Option Registration: On the official CEE website, candidates can select the college or course they wish to submit their applications for from a list. Before the deadline, they can register as many possibilities as they’d like.

Reporting to the Institute

Candidates who have been chosen and plan to continue in their designated seats must submit to the relevant institute for verification of admission. They will have their documents closely examined, and only when the documents’ integrity has been demonstrated will their entry be verified.
