What is NATA?

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture is a national-level entrance exam to take admission into undergraduate architecture programmes across architecture colleges and universities in India. It is supervised and conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA), governed by the Central Ministry of Education.

NATA exam is mainly an aptitude test. It is conducted to measure the innate abilities of aspiring candidates and examine their core requirements and skills in architecture and planning, including logical reasoning and critical thinking, artistic sensibilities, visual perception, and much more.

NATA 2025 Highlights

  • According to the new pattern, there will be one section in the exam.
  • For the NATA 2025 exam, the drawing section is included in the paper.
  • The question paper will consist of diverse types of questions, such as multiple-choices, multiple select type questions, preferential choice type questions, and numerical answer type questions.
  • The exam paper will have a total of 125 questions for 200 marks.
  • No negative marking in NATA 2025.
  • The Union Education Minister and the Council of Architecture (CoA) have announced a relaxation of the minimum marks for specific subjects for BArch admissions in 2025.

NATA 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Here are the eligibility criteria released by the Council of Architecture on their official website.

  • Qualifying Exam – 10+2 or 10+3 Diploma either passed or appearing
  • Subjects Required – Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory Subjects
  • Marks Required – Candidates who have successfully completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2), a Diploma (10+3), or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% aggregate marks in any stream from a recognised Central or State Government institution to apply for the NATA 2025 exam.
  • Age Limit – The NATA exam eligibility criteria do not impose a minimum age requirement for candidates to appear for the exam.

NATA 2025 Application Form

Visit the official website to get access to the NATA application form 2025. It is available from February 3, 2025. The last date for submitting the application form has not yet been announced. While completing the NATA 2025 application, candidates will need to register to open an account, complete the form with mandatory details, upload scanned documents, pay the fee, and submit the form.

How to Fill NATA 2025 Application Form?

Follow the below steps to fill out the application form:

  • Step 1: First, register for NATA 2025 on the official site to create a login ID and password. The details required are Name, Gender, Date of birth, Mobile number, Email id, Unique password, and Security question. After successful registration, you will get a registered ID and password.
  • Step 2: Login and fill out the application form. Use your registered credentials and start filling in the details.
  • Step 3: Next, upload scanned copies of the necessary documents, such as a recent passport-size photograph and signature. The signature should be in black/blue ink, and images should only be uploaded in jpg/jpeg format.
  • Step 4: Pay the application fee using Netbanking, Credit Cards, or ICICI I-Sure Bank Challan.
